Several bills on election of the People´s Deputies, registered at the Verkhovna Rada earlier, will be scrutinized at the plenary sitting on Tuesday.
Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Lytvyn made this statement at the Conciliative Council on Monday.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine informed that fifteen bills on election laws have been registered at the parliament so far. They include two electoral codes, two integral laws, and the bills on amendments to the law on elections of the People´s Deputies of Ukraine.
V. Lytvyn suggested scrutinizing most bills at the afternoon sitting on October 4 under the following procedure: ten minutes for the report on integral bills, two minutes for proposals concerning amendments to the applicable laws, Q and A session, summary from the subject committee, full discussion, and a bill-by-bill voting.
The Head of the Parliament called against scrutinizing electoral codes, as the matter concerns elections of the People´s Deputies of Ukraine only.
On the whole, seventy nine issues are to be scrutinized during this plenary week.
On October 10-14, deputies will work in the committees and factions. Six bills are to be considered during the plenary week of October 18-21.
